West Indies defeated hosts Netherlands (NED vs WI 1st ODI) by 7 wickets in the first ODI under the Duckworth-Lewis rule on the basis of an unbeaten century by wicket-keeper opener Shai Hope

Shai Hope and Shamrah Brooks opened the innings for the Windies. Both gave their team a bang for the first wicket with a partnership of 120 runs.

Brooks scored 60 runs in 67 balls. During this he hit 3 fours and 2 sixes. Logan Van Weeks caught Shamrah Brooks on his own ball.
